Everything I learned during my ACCP program with Aptech helped me face numerous programming challenges in my career. I have studied at IIPD (Mianz College) for almost two years, and without any doubt, I could say that was the best two years of my life. I have studied in other places in Male’ and even abroad, but one thing is certain: it never felt like home. In contrast, studying at IIPD (Mianz College) felt more like home, with lecturers like friends and the management like parents, always welcoming us warmly, listening to our problems, and helping us in every way possible. I do miss those moments even now; the quality time we shared, the unstoppable jokes and laughter, the smiles and the happiness we found on our lecturers’ faces when they taught, and the little anger when we played tricks on them; it was always educational. No matter what they taught us, it always had a positive impact on our lives.

After years of work experience, I decided to get my life back on the right track in my career path, and I am glad that I found IIPD (Mianz College). I have followed two programs in the Institute (Certificate level III HRM and Diploma HRM). It was amazing!!! It definitely widened my knowledge and skill set. I had a great experience and was involved with many aspects of the Institute. We formed the Students Association, organized various student activities, and supported the management in carrying out promotional activities. It was another invaluable learning experience. Managing a full course load alongside part-time work taught me how to manage my time and prioritize effectively, ensuring that the Institute always came first. I loved being a part of the big team. Without IIPD (Mianz College), I would not have reached where I am today

I never expected a diploma course from Mi College (Mianz College) to have such an impact on my life and future. Mi College (Mianz College) helped me unleash my IT potential; it showed me the right path to success. Looking back, I can see it was extremely important and a stepping stone in my career. It allowed me to develop my interpersonal skills, which are extremely important in my field of work.

After doing my O’ Level, I was looking for the next step to take, and in Male,’ it was a dilemma. At that moment, I learned about MI College (Mianz the college) through a friend. After joining the college, I felt it was more like a family of groomers. I enjoyed every moment of interaction with the amicable teachers and the lively, down-to-earth peers during the 18-month Diploma course. The support I received from the teachers and the management was commendable, and the knowledge I gained was rewarding. At the end of the course, I had to do an on-the-job training as part of a project. I completed the training in Allied Insurance, where I was even offered a job. My Advice is, ‘I have completed the course and established the start of my career. I hope you will also give it a try at MI College (Mianz College). It is and will always be my first choice.’

I am an alumnus of MI College.I hold a Master’s Degree in Information Technology from the University of West of England. I completed my Advanced Diploma in Software Engineering and Bachelors degree in Software Engineering from MI College.I am the Head of Software Development of the Research and Development Unit in the Maldives Police Service. Web application development has always been a hobby of mine and I am fortunate to have been able to build a career doing what I love. I had first started web design and development when I was at school. It was always my dream to study further in software engineering.The biggest challenge I faced was the availability of software engineering courses with the modules I wanted. In 2013, I found what I wanted in the MI College advanced diploma programme for software engineering. Later on, MI College designed a bachelor's degree program for students who completed the advanced diploma. I learned that MI College (Mianz College) had introduced a new Master’s program in Public Administration, and I am glad I enrolled in the program and was able to complete it successfully. My experience at MI College (Mianz College) was a wonderful one. The faculty members were very supportive and motivating. The Dean of the Faculty, Mr. Ruban Paul, was very supportive and encouraging throughout my journey to strive for that extra mile.
