Who we are

School of Agriculture is also committed to providing an all-around solution to the locals of Maldives to engage in agriculture and horticulture production and entrepreneurship, focus on research and development, and introduce economically valuable fruits and vegetables. The nation will be greatly benefited, if there exists scope of learning agriculture technologies, achieve higher agriculture education, long and short-term agriculture training for the citizen of different age groups, which will lead to generating skilled manpower in the agriculture sector of the Maldives. MIC School of Agriculture started its first campus in Hithadhoo, Addu City. Agriculture consultants from abroad were involved during the development phase and selecting, collecting, and conserving different germplasm on the campus. Currently we have started Certificate III in Gardening course under the faculty of Agriculture and Agribusiness.
