What began as ICCD with just 19 students and one passionate educator, our founder Mr. Ahmed Mottaki, has evolved into one of the nation’s most dynamic educational institutions. The early days focused on Business Management, Human Resources, and English Language studies but the vision was always greater: to shape capable, confident, and community-driven individuals.
Through the years, the college pioneered various initiatives such as the Future Leader Program and the flagship C3 Early Childhood Education programme, while also embracing international collaborations with organizations like the International Trade Centre and leading institutions from India such as Aptech Computer Education and Arena Multimedia.
As the institution grew from IIPD into MI College, it expanded its academic portfolio to include postgraduate and degree programmes across three key sectors: Business, Information Technology, and Education.
These programmes include Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Software Engineering, and a range of Education programmes at both degree and master’s levels.
Innovation has remained at the heart of the college’s growth from launching Robotics and Software Engineering programmes to introducing the School of Agriculture and Certificate III in Gardening, a key step towards supporting sustainable development in the Maldives. The college has proudly received recognition for its contributions, including the Special Agricultural Day Memento and consecutive Gold 100 Awards.
Beyond academics, Mianz College has continued to lead social responsibility efforts under the “Let’s Green It” and “Quamattakaa” initiatives, donating over 15,000 plants to councils and schools nationwide.
Today, with over 12,000 graduates, 2,000 active students, and a dedicated team of associates, Mianz College stands as a testament to two decades of progress, passion, and purpose empowering future-ready individuals for a better Maldives.
